Got invited into Google+ yesterday. Within five minutes of using it, I knew it was even more awesome than how Google describes the service. If all of my friends on Facebook would switch over, I would delete my Facebook account ;)Overall, the service is pretty basic right now, but it's awesome at what it does. It's a much more refined social network; the UI is incredible. As many have stated, it's like having several social networks in one. This is just a snippet of my opinion, a full review will come soon.

2010 was a great year for Apple! And for me too!
These are the Apple Gadgets I bought in 2010:
iPad - Purchased on the Day it Came Out
Mac Pro - Purchased in April
iPhone 4 - Purchased the Day it Came Out
MacBook Air - Purchased Dec 27

I also got a few accessories from Apple including the Magic Mouse and the Magic Trackpad!

As you can see I love Apple! Here's to another great year for Apple although I won't be buying anything new because I spent enough already!

This is a surprising news from Apple. Usually there are weeks and weeks of rumors before Apple announces an event. I honestly can't wait for tomorrow; I feel like it's going to be an insane announcement. Apple TV apps? TV subscription model? Music subscription? App rentals (totally a random guess)? iOS 4.2?

Evernote - The Best Note Taking App.

So for the past few year's I've been using Microsoft Office OneNote 2007 as my default note taking application. I generally only take notes for class on my Lenovo laptop so this was the key application to use. However exporting these notes was tedious. You had to export them as PDF's or Word Docs, email them to yourself, or transfer them over the network, etc. I needed a better way for my notes on my laptop to sync across all of my devices. My Mac is the computer connected to the printer, so in the event I need to print a page of my notes, I would need to go through that process of exporting them from OneNote. Plus, I'm trying to be "greener" and use less paper, so the iPad is an amazing way to cut down on paper and still have that "paper" like feel. This is where Evernote comes in. With Evernote, I don't have to hassle with exporting, emailing, etc. All of the notes are automatically synced between my devices. It has a clean and useful interface; no distractions, which is great during class. When I need to study, I take out my iPad and bam all of my notes are at my fingertips. Currently I'm on the free plan however that won't be for long. The premium package offers several, minor, changes; but with all of the work put into this app, they deserve the $45 that is costs. If your in need for a great note-taking application, especially if your a student, I highly recommend Evernote. Ditch whatever application you're using and join the Evernote club.

Here are all of the details from todays event:

As expected, Apple updated iLife. Some key new features were added to iPhoto, iMove, and GarageBand. Some of the new features being full screen mode, better audio editing enhancements, more themes, as well as plenty more. Although, no mention of any updates for iWeb or iDVD.

Apple gave a sneak preview to Mac OS 10.7 "Tiger" Many things from the iPad were interpreted for the Mac. Get ready for a Mac App Store and full screen apps. Some other key new features introduced were Launchpad, a Home Screen of apps for your Mac and MissionControl which is like an enhanced (and awesome) version of Expose.

Also, FaceTime for Mac was introduced today and is available for download right now.

And the "One more thing" was the new solid state, instant on MacBook Air. It now comes in two sizes. 11 and 13-inches. It has a high resolution display, a large battery that last 30 days standby and 5-7 hours usage.
